Ballroom Dancing Wall Art
The “Ballroom Dancing” wall art is dual media finished. “Dance to Express” as they say! In the wall decor the dancers and relief artwork is stain finished. The lines and notes on the sheet music are finished at the surface with black paint for accent detail. The piece is meant for wall hanging and is cut into Ambrosia Maple and it is 2.5 relief wood art, not an engraving.
There is no border to the art. It was cut to mimic a piece of sheet music as dancers move across it. The wood grain runs horizontally and is beautiful with its accents as if giving motion to the work as it flows. The finish on the dancers is provincial stain with the sheet music on the wood art being natural stain.
The cut across the artwork is at the same depth of .1 inches placing the art on the same surface level. The color accents is what gives the detail to the wood plank art. The surfacing was done with a .25 in end mill and the art was carved with a vbit. The artwork comes ready to hang.
The dimensions of the work are:
18.75 inches height
15.75 inches width
.75 inches thick
5 pounds in weight
